Web3 security leader CertiK becomes a key partner in Hong Kong
The Hong Kong SAR government recently held a "Key Enterprise Signing Ceremony," where CertiK, a leading company in the Web3 security field, became one of the key enterprise partners in Hong Kong. The company's Chief Technology Officer attended the signing ceremony and signed a cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong SAR government alongside 17 other high-tech enterprises.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Financial Secretary of Hong Kong, Paul Chan, attracting over 200 representatives from various sectors. A total of 18 companies have joined the ranks of key enterprises, covering multiple fields including advanced manufacturing, new energy technology, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology, and life and health technology. As the only company focused on Web3 security, CertiK, with its rich experience and technical strength in blockchain security, has become one of the important forces driving the construction of Hong Kong's international innovation and technology center.
After the ceremony, the company's executives stated that Hong Kong has a world-class reserve of financial and technological talent and maintains close ties with the international community. In recent years, the SAR government has actively promoted the development of Web3.0, introducing a number of virtual asset policy frameworks and implementing an authorization system for virtual asset service providers. At the same time, multiple institutions are also providing funding and resource support for startups, further promoting the development of the Web3 ecosystem. The company aims to set industry standards in the area of virtual asset compliance auditing, contribute to the development of related industries, and enhance Hong Kong's global competitiveness.
Government authorities have stated that they will collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive services to key enterprises, including CertiK, to accelerate their business establishment in Hong Kong and promote the continuous growth of the innovative technology industry. CertiK plans to leverage Hong Kong's geographical advantages and policy support to deepen cooperation with local research institutions and enterprises, contributing to the diversified development of Hong Kong's economy.
CertiK was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in New York, USA. It is a technology company focused on Web3 security. The company is dedicated to supporting the long-term development strategy of Web3 enterprises and ecosystems through full-cycle products and services. In recent years, CertiK has rapidly risen globally, providing services to over 4,900 enterprise clients and protecting digital assets worth more than $530 billion.
The company has a strong collaborative foundation with Hong Kong. The company's co-founders and chief technology officer are members of the Hong Kong Web3 Development Task Force, deeply involved in the construction of the Hong Kong Web3 ecosystem. In addition, the company has collaborated with relevant Hong Kong institutions to launch Web3 security training courses and has made suggestions regarding stablecoin regulation, which have been adopted by the Hong Kong authorities. Becoming a key enterprise partner in Hong Kong will further consolidate CertiK's strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region and assist Hong Kong in its innovative development in the fintech and blockchain sectors.
