Theo platform Beta version launched, introducing thBill to bridge on-chain capital and TradFi
The Theo institutional investment platform recently announced the official launch of its Beta version and the introduction of its core product thBill. Through the technical integration with multiple partners, Theo has successfully opened up the on-chain capital investment tokenization channel for U.S. Treasury bond funds, marking significant progress in connecting digital assets with the TradFi market.
ULTRA is a regulated token-native fund that utilizes advanced asset tokenization technology. Through the Theo platform, investors can more easily access the fund through multiple on-chain channels and enjoy a simplified access process.
Currently, although the stablecoin market has exceeded $250 billion and is expected to continue to grow rapidly in the coming years, efficient deployment methods for on-chain capital are still relatively scarce. To address this issue, Theo has launched the thBill product. thBill aims to provide institutional investors with a reliable, efficient, and user-friendly on-chain asset management tool. It effectively lowers the investment threshold, accelerates the speed of fund redemption, and comprehensively optimizes the user experience through a unified access point, achieving seamless integration of on-chain capital with TradFi assets.
The co-founder of Theo stated: "Connecting global markets with on-chain capital requires reliable infrastructure and partners with deep market expertise. We are honored to collaborate with multiple parties to jointly promote the future development of compliant on-chain finance."
A founder and CEO of a partner pointed out: "Asset tokenization is redefining the issuance and acquisition of financial assets. We are pleased to work with the Theo team to provide the key infrastructure necessary to achieve compliance, security, and scalability, thereby truly reconstructing the on-chain pathway for fund allocators to access the TradFi market."
The Director of Digital Assets and Asset Tokenization at a certain asset management company emphasized: "We always build short-duration fixed income strategies based on rigorous risk management and deep liquidity expertise. This collaboration enables us to extend this framework to on-chain, ensuring that modern asset allocators can seamlessly access traditional investment strategies and integrate with new digital asset infrastructures."
This multi-party collaboration marks the official launch of the thBill product and lays the foundation for Theo to build institutional-grade on-chain capital deployment capabilities. To reduce counterparty risk and ensure that investors receive complete and undiluted returns, this collaboration introduces institutional-grade safeguards across multiple dimensions such as counterparty risk, structural design, and legal compliance, aiming to reduce structural risks and protect investors' assets. In addition, the Theo platform allows investors to access the aforementioned strategies through a unified interface, without the need to possess expertise in algorithmic trading or operate multiple trading platforms.
Theo is a platform aimed at institutional investors, dedicated to connecting on-chain capital with global markets. Team members come from leading market-making and hedge fund backgrounds, with a focus on security, resilience, and performance in the platform's architecture, aiming to provide users with access to high-quality financial products. Theo was founded by traders from top trading firms and recently completed a $20 million funding round, receiving support from several well-known investment institutions.
