Ronin announces its return to Ethereum L2 and will become a gamified engine next year.

On August 15, Ronin announced its upcoming transition from Ethereum sidechains back to Ethereum L2. Four years ago, it established a separate Ethereum sidechain to meet the faster and more efficient network needs of Axie Infinity, as Ethereum's scalability roadmap was still in its early stages at that time. Now, with Ethereum's return, both transaction costs and speed are better than ever. Ronin plans to become the gamification engine for Ethereum and aims to become a fully functional L2 integrated with Ethereum next year.

Back to Eth again? The expression on your face when you abandoned it back then is still vivid in my memory.

Can we still play Axie this time? Who still remembers being scammed back in the day?
